KEY FEATURES
✔ Monitor your electricity, gas and water meters across one or more properties
✔ Quick entry of meter readings, as often as you like
✔ For iPhone 4 users, automatically use the rear-facing LED torch when reading your meters
✔ Shows usage and costs for the latest readings period, as well as any savings compared with your average usage
✔ Plots graphs of usage and cost per day, week, month, quarter or year, so that you can visualise changes over time
✔ Graphs can be viewed in landscape mode to see even more information
✔ Check your bills by comparing any pair of readings (e.g. those submitted to your supplier)
✔ View your usage and costs since your last bill, as well as an estimate of when and how much your next bill will be
✔ Compare your usage and costs against energy supplier prices for your area (UK only)
✔ Switch energy suppliers via an external link (UK only)
✔ Uses the currency from your region settings, with the option to override this per meter
✔ Handles a wide range of rates and charges, e.g. fixed charges, per-month rates, stepped per-usage rates for up to 12 levels, Economy 7, time of day meters ... etc
✔ User configurable units, so the app could be used for other types of measurement (e.g. oil, petrol/gas, broadband data, weight ... etc)
What's new in Version 2.8
Improvements to the main screen to simplify how your current usage and costs compare to the average. Current now refers to the current point on the graph (i.e. day, week, month ... etc), and average is the annual average by default. The Delta row gives a quick indication of whether current is above or below average.
If you have entered 2 years of readings or more, the graphs will now show your previous year's data too, to help you compare more easily. This is shown as either a pale grey line or semi-hidden pale-grey bars, depending on the graph type.
Added support for two new meter types: Solar and Wind. In practice these are no different to Electricity except that the words Usage and Cost are replaced by Generation and Credit (which I hope makes more sense). If there i anything else that would help here, please let me know.
Added a new setting to let you choose between annual averages (i.e. the previous 12 months) or the average over the period of the graphs.
Improved the extrapolation calculations for quarters and years to use annual averages rather than current consumption.
