Camera Mic IPA 1.0
Camera Mic IPA 1.0
Description
Self-portraits
The iPhone has a high quality camera that is difficult to use in self-portrait situations because it forces the user to awkwardly reach a non-physical shutter button on the screen behind the device. Touching the mic to take pictures not only adds a familiar sense of tactility to the shutter button, but also allows the device to be further extended for a wider variety of self-portrait style pictures. Furthermore, the precision, timing and alignment of pictures improve when the device is handled in the more comfortable position attained when using the Camera Mic App.
Flexibility
Photos can be taken in a variety of different ways with the Camera Mic application. Pictures can be taken with any physical touch on the mic: Tapping, swiping, flicking or rubbing the mic will all result in audio levels that are detected by the application. If the iPhone is held in landscape mode, sliding a finger along the frame on the home-button side is just one of many ways to trigger a photograph. In addition to physical touches on the mic, photos can also be captured with verbal or non-verbal sounds. Blowing into the mic, whistling, or verbal queues like "cheese" can all be used to activate the camera. When the headset is used with the iPhone or iPod Touch 4G, it essentially becomes an extension cable to the camera offering many more use cases.
Features:
- Operate the camera with sounds or any physical touch on the iPhone or iPod Touch 4G mic.
- Use the headset mic to take self portraits and pictures in a variety of different ways.
- Share photos on Facebook, Twitter, or by Email.
- Flash settings can be toggled to Off/On/Auto modes.
